青年作曲家創作暨讀譜工作坊—國際徵件
2022年時間藝術學院以「傳統與現在，從我開始」為題，舉辦創作暨讀譜工作坊，邀請國內外青年作曲家們主動探尋各自的傳統音樂文化，從傳統音樂中特有的節奏、音階、音色、 聲響等元素中，找尋創作的原動力。經過審慎的學習與充分的內化後，轉化為室內樂創作的 嶄新思維。 獲選之青年作曲家將受邀為時間藝術工作室創作新作品，並於今年九月演出。

TimeArt Academy 2022

The theme of the 2022 Academy is "Forgotten Voices". Young composers of diverse backgrounds are welcome to the project. We encourage composers to rethink contemporary music by exploring their own or different traditions and building up international collaboration during the pandemic years.
The Academy will invite 5-6 young composers to compose a new piece for the TimeArt Studio. The work will be performed and streamed in the concerts held during the Academy in early September 2022.

Who can apply?
Composers under 40. Any nationality.
How?
Send us the following:
・Short biography in English or Chinese.
・Link(s) to (a) score(s) & recording(s) of any of your recent works.
・Preference of the ensemble you want to compose for (information below). If you have more than one preference, please write them in the order from the most preferred.
・Applications have to be sent by e-mail to the

(For your information: the deadline for complete scores and parts is: 4th of September 2022)
Further Information
・Possible Instrumentation: flute, clarinet, piano, violin, viola, cello, percussion, sheng, zheng, pipa.
・May include electronics and projection (please ask for available setups/devices etc.)
・All applicants will be informed about their
participation within two week after the application deadline. The selected composers will be given more detailed information about the composition requirements then.
・The workshops and rehearsals sessions will be live streaming and with recording for international composers.
